International Development

The club has recently started on developing links with similar organisations abroad in order to use the power of sport to help improve people’s lives.

2012 Onwards

Red Rose Sports Club has been working with communities and sports organisations in the Caribbean to support the development of more opportunities for disabled people to take part in sport at local and international level.

In 2014, Red Rose Sports Club supported the establishment of the St. Vincent and Grenadines National Paralympic Committee, with the aim of disabled participants from the country taking part in future Paralympic Games.

2009 – 2012

The club has been consolidating its international work by establishing and developing networks in various countries and with various NGOs.

The club is looking to build on this work by establishing projects in various countries in 2013.

2008

In 2008, a few members of the club visited India to establish links with schools and community organisations.

The visit was successful and plans are currently being developed to expand as the initatives started.
